Canberra Airport’s ‘AirVolution’ represents the transformation of the terminal precinct over the period 2009-2013. This represents the most significant phase of development in the Airport’s history. It follows earlier phases of growth starting in 1927 that then saw periods of development that coincide with military expansion in the war years and, more recently, advances in civilian aviation and the broader development of the Canberra region.

Completion of the ‘AirVolution’ will be an historical milestone in its own right and will deliver a new terminal benefiting the National Capital in time for Canberra’s centenary in 2013.
