Now under construction is the two lane entry and exit roads to the terminal. This includes a two level road system with the top level servicing the departures level and the bottom level servicing arrivals.

As part of Canberra Airport's AirVolution the roads in and around the terminal precinct are undergoing significant upgrades, these include:

• 1.3km duplication of Pialligo Avenue.
• High capacity entry/exit road servicing the terminal.
• Two level road system - lower level for arrivals and upper level for departures.
• Axial road system to enhance driver's visibility and increase their way-finding ability.
