Is your home affected by aircraft noise?

If you live in Jerrabomberra, Queanbeyan or near a flight path to the north of the Airport, your home may be affected by aircraft noise.

The following plans show the impact of aircraft noise created by a single aircraft arriving or departing the airport. For these maps we have specified two types of aircraft who typically frequent the airport, a Boeing 737-800 and a Boeing 767-300ER and have measured the noise in a maximum number of decibels (dBA).

While the noise from specific aircraft and for specific flights may vary, the following noise footprint attempts to graphically show the impact of aircraft noise (in maximum number of decibels (dBA)) created by a single B737-800 and B767-300ER aircraft operating on Canberra Airport flight paths.
