Canberra Airport offers an array of first-class facilities, including ten meeting rooms, a banquet room for up to 160 guests and two audio visual theatres catering for up to 145 guests.

Whether private or public sector, a seminar or conference, training session or product launch, we will help tailor a package for your event.

Located just 8 minutes from Civic, Canberra Airport has meeting and conference facilities located across Brindabella Business Park, Fairbairn and Majura Park, all set amongst magnificently landscaped surrounds.

Each meeting room fills with natural light and is equipped with blockout blinds for extra privacy. Featuring the latest in technology, all rooms are fitted with an array of audio visual equipment and presentation white boards and include space for catering.

Brindabella Conference Centre, 33 & 35 Brindabella Circuit.

This is a flexible meeting and conference space to suit any business. The Bendora Room and Googong Room combine to make one large room. The Alastair Swayn Theatre is custom built and has a range of special features which include built in data projection and AV capabilities.

The Alastair Swayn Theatre:

  • Tiered seating for 145 people including 19 wheelchair locations.
  • Digital audio systems for both speech reinforcement and audio visual presentations.
  • Assisted hearing system for the hearing impaired.
  • Crestron touch screen control of all facets of the room including lighting operation.
  • DVD, CD and Digital TV
  • Data projector with multiple floor mounted inputs.
  • Standard lectern microphone and a hand held wireless microphone.
  • Broadcast audio media splitter for recording of meetings or press conferences.
  • Motorised projection screen.

Fairbairn Function Centre, 49 Laverton Avenue.

Fairbairn Functions Centre, formerly the Officers' Mess for the RAAF Base Fairbairn, has recently undergone major refurbishment, and is now available to hire for conferences, events and functions.

Located adjacent to the Fairbairn Golf Club, the Fairbairn Functions Centre has been designed to cater for most functions and events, ranging from small, intimate gatherings, corporate get-togethers, training days and large dinners and celebrations.
