If you’re a visitor to Canberra then the best transport option is to rent a car, even if it’s for a day trip.

Canberra Airport has six car rental companies located at the arrivals hall of the terminal, adjacent to the baggage collection belts.

While it’s best to book ahead, rental cars are available on the day.
