Visit the Australian War Memorial and attend the Dawn Service, National ANZAC Day Ceremony and Last Post Ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces in the First World War.
On Tuesday 25 April, at 4.30 am excerpts will be read from the letters and diaries of Australians who experienced war firsthand.
At 5.15 am all will be quiet before the Dawn Service commences in darkness at 5.30 am.
Transport Canberra, together with the Australian War Memorial, will be providing free transport to and from the ANZAC Day dawn and national ceremonies.
