In accordance with the Airports Act 1996 and in consultation with the community and key airport stakeholders, the Canberra Airport 2020 Master Plan presents the vision for the Canberra Airport for the next 20 years.
The Master Plan presents the planning for the Canberra Airport to become:
- the best small airport in the world
- further internationally connected with New Zealand, China and Vanuatu
- a major contributor to economic growth
- a valued asset to the local community

The 2020 Master Plan is available to download for free on our website or a hard copy of the 2020 Master Plan is available for inspection or purchase for $100 at Canberra Airport Management Office.
