AROSE Lunar Rover prototype on display
15 August 2024
Thanks to AROSE (Australian Remote Operations for Space and Earth), the AROSE Lunar Rover prototype will be on display at Canberra Airport for two weeks for public viewing.
This prototype is part of the Australian Space Agency’s Trailblazer Program, which will see Australia’s first-ever lunar rover on a mission to collect regolith (“lunar soil”) from the Moon. This mission will represent a giant leap forward for the advancement of Australian civil space.
We are proud to have showcased this extraordinary display, and we congratulate Australia’s Nova Systems who are part of the AROSE Trailblazer Consortium (and have a team located at our Business Parks), for its critical role in the rover's design and engineering development.
