Canberra Airport Rated Australia’s Highest for Customer Satisfaction
Canberra Airport has been recognised as Australia’s highest‑rated airport for overall customer satisfaction, according to a new national survey released by the Australian Government’s Behavioural Economics Team (BETA) in April 2026.
The Preparing for take‑off report surveyed more than 4,000 Australians about their experiences travelling by air over the past 12 months, examining satisfaction across airports, airlines and the end‑to‑end passenger journey.
Results from the survey show that travellers using Canberra Airport reported the highest levels of overall satisfaction of any Australian city airport, reflecting strong performance across customer experience, ease of travel and service quality.
The findings reinforce Canberra Airport’s continued focus on delivering a seamless and positive passenger experience, from terminal facilities and wayfinding to customer service and accessibility.
