Canberra Airport to temporarily close

Canberra Airport has announced today (14 August 2020) that the passenger terminal will be closed on Saturday 22 and Saturday 29 August 2020

with the possibility of further closures on Saturdays—and possibly Tuesdays—due to COVID-19 travel bans.

The terminal will reopen on Sunday 23 and Sunday 30 August 2020. The terminal will continue to operate as usual outside of these closure dates.

The airport runway remains operational for general aviation, emergency flights, government and air force flights.
