Alliance Airlines has announced it will commence 2 weekly scheduled services between Canberra and Sunshine Coast and onwards to Cairns from 23 October 2020.

The new double destination service is the first time Alliance Airlines has offered regular passenger services to Canberra and are one of Australia’s top regional air operators headquartered in Brisbane.

Alliance Airlines is Australia’s leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation services currently employing in excess of 550 full time staff. Alliance Airlines provides essential services to the mining, energy, tourism and government sectors and also operates a network of regional scheduled services in Queensland. Alliance holds IATA’s IOSA certification and Flight Safety Foundation “BARS Gold” status, the first such carrier in Australia to be so recognised.

Alliance currently operates a fleet of 24 Fokker F100, 13 Fokker 70LR jet aircraft and five Fokker 50 turboprops with an additional three aircraft in storage and available for entry into the fleet. Alliance has world-leading operational performance, a key attribute rightly valued by its customers. The Company has operational bases in Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns, Rockhampton, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin.

Fares between Canberra and the Sunshine Coast start from $169 one-way including taxes.

Fares between Canberra and Cairns start at $275 one-way including taxes.
