The first Canberra to Ballina-Byron Bay return flights with Fly Pelican took off today (3 July) opening far north coast NSW holidays to Canberrans and for those travelling from the north a direct link to the nation’s capital and Canberra region.

The Ballina Byron Gateway Airport has received huge support as they are perfectly timed for the commencement of the ACT winter school holidays. These flights provide a great opportunity to bring visitors to each of the Canberra and Northern Rivers regions—for a greatly-needed boost to each local economy.
