Clare Holland House
The Snow Foundation announced a grant of $2 million to support the expansion of Clare Holland House and its special role in palliative care assisting families at a very difficult time of their lives.
This expansion will improve facilities, helping more Canberrans in their final stage of life, spend less time in the hospital and more time with their loved ones.
‘We are thrilled to be part of this exciting expansion of a well-loved community asset with Government who are contributing $4 million. Clare Holland House is a special place and this expansion will help it become a world leader in excellence for clinical care, education and research helping generations to come not only in the ACT but the rest of Australia and throughout the world’, says CEO Georgina Byron.
The Snow Foundation is a family charitable foundation created 27 years ago by Terry Snow and his brother, George, with a deep commitment and investment in the wellbeing of the ACT Community.
