Raw and Refined | Phoebe Porter Exhibition
From 4 to 23 November 2026, Canberra Airport's Atrium Display Case will showcase Raw and Refined, a contemporary jewellery exhibition by Australian jeweller Phoebe Porter, presented as part of the 2026 Craft + Design Canberra Festival. The exhibition offers travellers and visitors a unique opportunity to experience Porter's distinctive work throughout November.
Known for her use of bold colour, geometric forms and contrasting materials, Porter creates contemporary jewellery that blends industrial processes with traditional craftsmanship. Her work has been exhibited throughout Australia and internationally and is held in major public collections including the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of South Australia and the Powerhouse Museum.
To complement the exhibition, visitors are also invited to a special in-conversation event with Phoebe Porter and craft writer and curator Dr Kevin Murray on Thursday, 12 November 2026. Held within the exhibition in Canberra Airport's Departures Lounge, the discussion will explore the inspiration, materials and creative process behind Raw and Refined.
