Canberra Airport has today (Monday 10 August) announced the extension of direct flights between Canberra and Northern NSW, in partnership with the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport and regional airline Fly Pelican.
Return flights to Ballina-Byron Bay from Canberra Airport will be extended for a further eight weeks (23 October 2020) with the flights being hugely popular and FlyPelican responding to the demand.
The extension provides Canberrans with the opportunity to escape to the sunny far north NSW coast now or the next school holidays as well as those in Northern NSW to visit Canberra and the region.
