Queensland border to open for ACT

From 1am Friday 25 September, the Queensland border will open to the ACT for non-essential travellers, as long as the traveller has not been to a Queensland declared COVID-19 hotspot (Victoria & NSW) in the past 14 days.

All travellers must apply for a Queensland Border Declaration Pass prior to their departure.

There is currently 7 weekly flights to Brisbane with Qantas and Virgin, as well as 2 weekly flights to the Gold Coast with Virgin Airlines.

The border opening will coincide with the beginning of the ACT School Holidays.
