A levitating man, a genetically engineered baby, towering giants – welcome to humanity amplified. Featuring uncanny figures with painted silicon skin, glass eyes, human hair and cutting-edge digital art, Hyper Real provokes reflection, fascination, fear and joy.

Hyper Real is the latest blockbuster exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia and is on display until 18 February, 2018. From eerily lifelike sculptures to out-of-this-world virtual reality, it charts the evolution of hyperrealism into the 21st century.

The exhibition presents major works from early American pioneers George Segal, John De Andrea and Duane Hanson, celebrated Australian artists Patricia Piccinini, Ron Mueck and Sam Jinks, international masters Maurizio Cattelan (Italy), Berlinde de Bruyckere (Belgium), Evan Penny (Canada), Sun Yuan and Peng Yu (China) and many more.

Best of all, we’ve got a double pass to give away to Hyper Real.

For your chance to win simply email social@canberraairport.com.au and name one of the artists with work/s featured in the exhibition. The first correct entry drawn at random at 9am on Tuesday 19 December will win.

Get your entries in by 5pm (AEST) on Monday 18 December.
