Temporary terminal closures extended

Canberra Airport’s Terminal closures on Saturdays will be extended until the end of September, due to reduced flight numbers caused by COVID-19 border closures.

The dates of closure are as follows:

Saturday 5 September
Saturday 12 September
Saturday 18 September
Saturday 26 September

An assessment will be made as to whether opening on Saturday’s hereafter is economically viable.

The airport runway remains operational for general aviation, emergency flights, government and air force flights on the dates of closure.
